I grew up in a village in West Cumbria called St.Bees. With big sea cliffs in one direction, and mountains in the other, i started climbing at a relatively young age. All free time was spent doing it, and all my other time was spent thinking about it. Come the end of secondary school, climbing was my world, and i was rock climbing and winter climbing to a good level, this is when i dicovered the Alps.
I'm now 23 years old, and have a vast alpine ticklist, including some of the hardest routes in the Alps, and many notable ascents in the greater ranges of Patagonia and Alaska. I'm also in my second year of becoming an IFMGA guide through the British system.
